Biography
  • Born and raised in Marysville, PA, Brooke obtained a B.A. in Political Science in 2006 from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, and a J.D. from The Widener Commonwealth Law School, Harrisburg, PA, in 2009. In 2008, Brooke was offered the Right-to-Know Law Administrator position with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, a job she worked while completing her law degree in the evenings. In 2010, Brooke assumed the dual roles of Assistant House Counsel & Right-to-Know Law Administrator, serving under the Chief Clerk of the House. In 2012, Brooke was promoted to House Counsel, where she assumed full responsibility for the legal affairs of the House Chief Clerk & Comptroller. Brooke held that role until 2020, when she was reclassified to the position of CORE Legal Counsel, and began managing the CORE Legal Department under the direction of the House Bipartisan Management Committee. In 2021, Brooke was elected Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, earning the distinction of the first female ever to hold that position in Pennsylvania. Brooke resides in Camp Hill Borough with her husband Jason, and their three children, Brady, Brynne & Brice.
