(A) on the publicly accessible Internet website
of the register of wills in the county where letters
were granted according to fees established under
section 2.1 of the act of July 1, 1981 (P.L.191,
No.57), referred to as the Register of Wills Fee Law,
or, if the register of wills of the county does not
provide such website, in a newspaper of general
circulation published at or near the place where the
decedent resided; or
(B) a newspaper of general circulation published
at or near the place where the decedent resided or,
if the register of wills of the county does not
provide a publicly accessible Internet website for
publication, publication shall be made in a newspaper
of general circulation published at or near the place
where the decedent resided; and
(iii) in the case of a nonresident decedent, in a
newspaper of general circulation at or near the place
where the letters were granted.
(2) The notices required under paragraph (1)(i) and
(iii) shall be published once a week for three successive
weeks and, in the case of the notice required under paragraph
(1)(ii), continuously for a period of not less than three
successive weeks, together with [his] the personal
representative's name and address; and in every such notice,
[he] the personal representative shall request all persons
having claims against the estate of the decedent to make the
claims known [the same to him or his] to the personal
representative or the personal representative's attorney, and
all persons indebted to the decedent to make payment to [him]
