Tips to get the most out of our Quick Search feature

How can I find out what happened on a particular session day?

Type any date and see what happened on that day. Examples can be, but are not limited to, session votes, committee meetings, and amendments filed for any day.

How can I quickly find information on a bill or resolution?

Type legislation in the format of HB#, HR#, SB#, or SR# to find legislation for the current session. To view prior session legislation, preface the entry with the odd numbered session year. For example "2017HB100" will return 2017-2018 House Bill 100.

How can I quickly find information regarding a member?

This may include co-sponsorship memos, sponsored legislation, and biographical information.

How can I quickly find information regarding a committee?

This may include upcoming and past meetings, legislation in the committee, and committee assignments.

How can I find out who my legislator is?

Type the phrase "Who is my legislator" to see related pages. These include member lists for both chambers and a search page where you may enter an address to see who represents the district for both chambers.

I need to find a specific page, but I do not recall how to navigate there.

Quickly find pages such as Session Calendars, House and Senate Rules, and Session Live. Simply type a keyword or phrase pertaining to the page you are searching.
